Bode Miller

Just when I thought I couldn't like Bode Miller any more than I already do, he comes out and says this:
If you ever tried to ski when you're wasted, it's not easy. Try and ski a slalom when ... you hit a gate less than every one second, so it's risky. You're putting your life at risk. ... It's like driving drunk, only there are no rules about it in ski racing."
I can't wait for the Olympics.

Somehow, I was not made aware of the approaching Olympics until very recently. I suppose that tells you how often I watch NBC.

I think heard that Bode is starting an organic farm in NH, or maybe giving his sister money to start one. Maybe they'll brew some beer there.

I can totally see Bode opening a microbrewery. Better yet, help out Franconia Notch who got kicked out of their brewery a couple months ago with his world cup millions.

Did you watch the interview, it was so bad--he sounds like such an idiot. -kara

I didn't see the actually interview, but I've heard him talk before. I don't think any top ski racers are really smart, though - you don't want to be thinking rationally about flying down a mountain at 80mph.

He still doesn't sound as dumb as Johnny Damon.
